Terms & Conditions
1. Satisfaction

Your satisfaction is important. If you are unhappy with your dog’s groom or style, please raise this at the time of collection. At your next appointment, I will endeavour to make reasonable adjustments to meet your preferences.
Once your dog has left the appointment, I cannot accept responsibility for any dissatisfaction or request alterations outside of the appointment.

2. Arrival & On-Site Safety

We are a working dairy farm with moving machinery and livestock. For safety reasons, all dogs must arrive and leave with a collar and lead or harness and lead attached at all times.

Outside of the grooming cabin, it is the owner’s responsibility to supervise and safeguard their dog.

Dogs should be given the opportunity to relieve themselves prior to arrival. If your dog soils on the property, owners are expected to clean up and dispose of waste responsibly.

3. Parking

Parking on the property is entirely at the owner’s own risk. No liability is accepted for loss or damage to vehicles.

4. Payment

Full payment is due on collection of your dog unless otherwise stated. Payment methods accepted are cash, card and BACS transfer.

For new clients, a non-refundable booking fee of 50% of the groom cost is required at the time of booking to secure the appointment.

5. Cancellations & Non-Attendance

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a charge of 50% of the booking fee, which must be paid prior to booking any further appointments.
Failure to attend an appointment without notice will result in full payment of that appointment being required before any future bookings can be made.

6. Aggressive or Unsuitable Behaviour

Owners must inform me in advance of any behavioural issues, sensitivities or triggers that may affect the grooming process.

Failure to disclose relevant behavioural information may result in the dog being sent home and refusal of future services.

If at any stage I feel my safety is at risk, the groom will be stopped immediately, the dog will need to be collected, and full payment for the appointment will still apply.

Owners are reminded that under the Dangerous Dogs Act, owners are legally responsible for bites or injuries caused by their dogs.

7. Parasite Control

All dogs must be up to date with parasite control treatments.

If parasites are discovered during the appointment, the groom will be stopped and the dog sent home. An additional £15 charge will be added to cover the required deep cleaning and sanitisation of the grooming cabin, which may impact the running of the day.

Full payment for the appointment plus the £15 cleaning fee must be paid before any further bookings can be made.

8. Grooming Risks & Welfare

Grooming equipment is sharp and, while every care is taken to ensure the safety of your dog and myself, accidents can occur. These may include minor cuts, clipper rash, scratches or bites, particularly if a dog moves suddenly or has limited tolerance for grooming.

Heavily matted coats significantly increase the risk of skin irritation, cuts or clipper rash. In such cases, a full clip-off may be required for the welfare of the dog.

If an accident occurs, the owner will be contacted immediately. Any veterinary treatment required as a result will be the responsibility of the owner.
